What is it? Cyber LTE
is a broadband internet only service delivered using the
latest state-of-the-art Long Term Evolution technology which
has become the standard in today's cellular-driven world.
Our partner network is completely fiber fed to area cellular
towers near your location. Then our customer partner
created modem receives the LTE signal from a nearby cellular
tower using licensed cellular frequencies to deliver a
stunningly fast broadband signal to our broadband modem.

Where is it? Cyber
Broadband's core network is based in Cullman Alabama but we
have multiple points of presence across North Alabama. We have
multiple fiber optic terminations at all of our locations and
after traffic is routed through our network it is wirelessly
transmitted to our partner cellular towers, which then, in
turn, transmit to our customer access modems.

What it isn't? Our
Traditional Wireless Internet Service. Fixed Wireless
broadband requires customers to have external (and sometimes
expensive) equipment mounted on the side of their house.
While, we do still sometimes have to install antennas on
customers’ homes who are in valleys, or far away from an
existing tower, most of our clients are able to use our small
in-building customer access modem/router combination. It is
just like your traditional modem or router, but only requires
a power cable, as everything else is wireless. It is almost
like a MiFi device you can get from major cellular carriers,
however ours are built for Fixed Wireless, and work with our
partner frequencies. Plus – We are cheaper, and don’t have any
data caps / GB limits.

Is
this Satellite Based?
No, Cyber LTE Internet
service is not satellite-based internet. We use fiber optic
connections and LTE-Advanced radio technology. Typical
response time (latency/ping) is 50ms. Satellite typically has
a response time (latency/ping) of between 1500 and 3000ms,
which is what makes it seem so slow, and cumbersome. Most
people compare our service to broadband in an urban
environment.

How
fast is this service?
Cyber LTE Internet
speeds vary by location. On average we see speeds
between 10 and 20 Mbps but occasionally faster and sometimes
slower. We offer two plans because of this, a 3 Mbps base
plan, and a 10 Mbps based plan.

Are
there data limits? Does my service slow down if I use
too much?
Cyber LTE does not
have any data limits. We do not limit the amount of data /
gigabytes you may use and we do not compress or reduce the
quality of videos. We provide true, open internet.

Will
Netflix / Hulu / Other Streaming Services work?
Cyber LTE is
normal broadband internet and supports any and all online
streaming platforms. A 10 Mbps based plan should support
multiple streams at once.

Do
you support gaming?
Cyber LTE does indeed
support online gaming. However, sometimes our combination
modem/router can create a strict NAT environment. The
solution for this is to purchase a static IP for an additional
fee. Our office staff can tell you more about this
option if it becomes an issue for you.

you support static IP addresses?
We typically reserve
these for businesses and we can provide a large range of IP
addresses for your needs for an additional fee. Our
office staff can tell you more about this.

Is
there a credit check?
No. Cyber Broadband
does not require a credit check since our Cyber LTE service is
completely prepaid and month-to-month.

Is
there a contract?
No. Cyber Broadband's
LTE residential service does not require a contract. Our
service is month-to-month. You may cancel at any time.

Is
there a setup fee?
Yes. Cyber LTE does
charge a $199 setup and activation fee for new residential

How
does the billing work?
Cyber LTE is billed
month-to-month.
All of our residential services are pre-paid.
Subscribers to this service are required to be on auto-pay
through either a major credit card or an electronic check
transaction.
Invoices are generated and then emailed as a PDF to the email
address on file.
On the date your invoice is generated our system will charge
your card on file and email you a receipt.

How
do I disconnect my service?
Cyber LTE is billed
month-to-month. We know that you won't want to disconnect but
if you need to, as long as you notify our office by the end of
your billing period that you wish to disconnect, we can
process that request. We can not prorate any partial use
charges. You may call our office at (256) 734-1077 or
send a ticket through your customer management portal.
